1.
Two branches sprung out of our lives They have been split in half With every year that passes by There's even more to come Places unknown Worlds to be told You can see them Every time you dream When history will repeat itself Who will drown and who will live? In the tunnel of your old mistakes They're always the same Worlds to be told Places unknown When you wake up They start owning you
2.
That Evening 04:24
In this warm evening Something feels clearly not right Who would know why? Floating in silence City of cold dimmed lights One would run in fear This day caught me by surprise Shroud my head in comfort And guide me where it's safe In this mid-summer This could be a new love But now ain't the time Turn off the lights now Let's go to sleep, good night Tomorrow I’ll be fine This day caught me by surprise Shroud my head in comfort And guide me where it's safe Watch out for rainy summer nights
3.
Some Dawn 04:03
Here I am standing In the warm rain Call me innocent lust Here I am crying No tears could save us from drowning There she is dying Kisses are for nothing Who put you in your grave Young man Are you denying? Here I am standing Here I am crying There she is dying Look, this is my heaven Night is done I’m just an innocent lust
4.
It's been a few years since the last rays of light Buried alive deep beneath the heavy ground Dozens of weeks have passed now the roots are strong Still no hope was seen to grow on this sad soil Everything that walks by will quickly die In this land of horror there’s no place for a laugh If you dig deep enough then you will surely find The twisted body of a man with a crooked smile Since I have been gone too long My eyes can’t remember A friendly face under a peaceful sky Seasons come and go Earth above is heavier by the day He used to smile and laugh, be happy, make love This was about to be over when one day he met Deceptive Pandora who showed him the joy Of wry remarks, bitterness and regrets Since I have been gone too long My eyes can’t remember A friendly face under a peaceful sky Seasons come and go Earth above is heavier by the day Another tear another sigh For a faded reflection of a place once well known In disappointment, sanity’s demise The facade tears down Yet still in denial As feedback grows stronger Confused he is struggling so close to the edge Deceiving voices That never stop Are bad dreams numbered? Another tear another sigh For a faded reflection of a place once well known In disappointment, sanity’s demise The facade tears down It’s time to rest now Confused we are shouting her name Biased we are facing each day Whole years are drowning in waste There’s hope at the bottom But it can’t escape
5.
When your night’s too long day may never come Worlds around are now calmly drifting free Some are loud Some bleak There are times when a few interlace These common points still wander within ourselves Who would like to take a swim? Here comes the tide Some of us like to drown Underneath the dead starry sky Now here comes the tide
6.
Time and sanity dispersed This is a place called emptiness Lost in never ending maze I am crawling in the past All senses have failed This is myself In Parallel Building castles made of sand We are wandering through the past
7.
The Wheel 06:26
Just before the warm midnight came A deadly threat lurks around the corner Lost in sweet oblivion With every step it's getting closer Who will drown? Who will live? Get to know The Wheel Wasted lives Tales untold Wheel of fortune In your dreams Beautiful yet greedy minds Living in addicted world When they thrive in chaos Many lives can be lost Who will drown? Who will live? Get to know The Wheel Wasted lives Tales untold Wheel of fortune Now it’s real Letting go.. Letting go... Letting go… Letting go...

about

In March 2019 Pale Mannequin released their debut album “Patterns In Parallel”. Its main theme revolves around the idea of predestination. History often turns full circle, and some patterns repeat endlessly, regardless of the context. If day after day, we are defined by our own patterns and habits – do all our decisions really matter in the end?
